My "Why"

From day one I was training. From a young age I was naturally drawn to the idea of having the power to shape my body into what I wanted it to be. Early on it was instilled in me that becoming the unit I always dreamed of was possible if I just did the work.

I played many different sports, but wrestling was my passion. The physical demands of the sport and one-on-one competitive aspect of the sport had me hooked. To know I could win in something by out working my opponent was very rewarding and fun. I started at the age of 10 and became fully dedicated by 15.

After years of dedication to the sport, I landed a spot at the University of Virginia. During my time I had the privilege to learn what it takes to make it to the highest level in one of the hardest sports in the world. I was fortunate enough to receive an undergraduate in Biology and then pursue my passion in Exercise Physiology with a Master's degree. I learned more about the human body, health and disease related to exercise than ever before. It solidified that I wanted to help people see how exercise can change their life both physically and mentally.

After graduation, I lived in Texas for a little while before coming back to Virginia to pursue my passion in fitness. Now, for over a year, I have helped hundreds of clients get in shape, reach their fitness goals and show them how working out enhances your life outside the gym.

Above all of the health, physical and mental benefits of exercise, my main goal for people is to show them how to make fitness a lifestyle while discovering who they really are. I believe training not only can help shape our minds to be who we want to become, but it shows us what we're really made of.

If you can do this to your fullest capacity, I believe you can do anything and be anyone you want. Anyone can go through the motions during exercise, but I want to help YOU see what it means to prove to yourself you can do hard things even when you don't feel like it, that you can take yourself to the next level, that you had an extra gear you didn't know you had, that you didn't quit no matter how bad you wanted to.

The benefits of training have to be earned consistently, however if you stack enough days where you prove to yourself you can do things you didn't feel like doing, it will serve as a cornerstone in your mind forever.

You will know who you are. Once you understand that making hard decisions in life is the exact same thing as making a hard decision with your training, you will be empowered to live your life fully and be who you want to be.

The habits you will create from this will allow you to consistently take action without even having to think about it - it will feel like it's just "life" or "happening", but it is the result of you making the right decisions over time.

It is a privilege to coach and teach people the mental and physical training wisdom that I have accrued from over 12 years of high-level wrestling and training experience - you can get inside the mind of a former D1 wrestler and apply what I have learned to your life and level up.
